She’s actually 12 years older than me but people say we are two in the same.. lol.. Since it falls on a thursday this year and I work a 9-5ish.. my perfect vday is at home watching a movie eating chocolates
My perfect Valentine’s Day is when my hubby and I get some take out and just relax at home. One year we caught up on a couple of movies we had received for Christmas and just never got around to watching and another year we went just went to the store together. As long as I’m with my hubby, it doesn’t matter what we do.
This year, a befriended couple and my boyfriend & me are doing something we call an “Anti-Valentine’s-Day” – not because we don’t like this day (we all do!) but to do something completely different than the last years where we were always out to a nice, romantic restaurant and maybe went to a spa. It was always really nice but we decided to change things up a bit for this year

So we will have dinner at some fast food franchise, go to the cinema to watch the lastet “Die Hard” movie and then probably hop off to a club for a night out
This is just one of many ways to show that Valentine’s Day can be perfect in any way as long as you spend time with the people you love and enjoy what you’re doing – and I’m sure we’re going to have a lot of fun next Thursday

But usually when we try to plan something, something always comes up. If it’s not our kids, it’s work, or something else and with all that, we just don’t want to go anywhere anymore.
Now with a 3rd baby on the way, I’m too sick to really go anywhere but to stay home and close to the bathroom because of the morning sickness (TMI sorry).
I would love to go on a romantic dinner date, slow dancing, and a moonlit walk on the beach afterwards. That would be enough for me…. who knows maybe one day!! LoL!!
