Welcome to my blog! OrganizedJen.com is the new home of content related to my three YouTube channels, OrganizedlikeJen, MyHousewifeLife, and TheBusyBeeBuzz. I will be posting about all of my favorite topics, ranging from organization and home care to beauty favorites and product reviews. Launching this blog has been a longtime dream of mine and I am excited to begin 2013 with this new parking spot on the world wide web. I hope you will join me in my blogging pursuits by checking back for updates in the new year!
I’d like to extend a HUGE thank you to Erin at Designer Blogs for making this blog a reality for me. I had a vision and she really hit the nail on the head with the design! I hope to film a video for OrganizedLikeJen in early 2013 discussing the building of this blog journey with you and all of the related decisions I made. And you can bet there will be related blog posts!
Thank you for your support & enthusiasm for all of my social media endeavors. I cannot wait to become a true blue blogger now, as well! Stay tuned for new posts coming soon

I’m sorry you find it difficult to read. My designer & I spent a lot of time & attention on working the colors. All of them suit me & the look I was going for. I don’t find it difficult to read the yellow tab. Perhaps the setting on your screen is set too brightly?
I don’t have any troubles reading the yellow…and I need glasses for both everyday and reading, so my vision isn’t the best.
I, also, do not have any trouble reading the tabs on any of my devices. Maybe it is the monitor or screen she is viewing it on? I checked on my phone and my desktop and it looked good on both. Great job Jen and designerblogs.com!

Don, I just love how much you love your sweet wife and unabashedly express your love for her. Your unwavering support and encouragement is so admirable. You new site looks terrific – would have expected nothing less from you. I think this site reflects who you are and that’s a good thing. ; o)
You do provide us with a beacon of light by just being Jen – happy, kind, inspiratonal and good hearted (which is so apparent). As Cricket says, you are a light in these days which seem so “messy” at times. Many of us thank you for that from the bottom of our hearts <3. Keep being true to yourself.

If I’m being honest I have to say I am a little disappointed in the design. I was hoping for something more original and , well.. Professional looking to really kick start what could be a very successful brand. I have young children and it looks like something my kids would like. I think you need to appeal to a more mature audience in order to really have success as a brand. My background is in Internet Marketing Strategy, I am a stay at home mom now. Love the design. I’ve been watching your videos for over a year now and every time there’s a new one, I feel like I’m opening a present. So thanks to Vlogadays, right now I get to open at least one present every day!! This time of year is extremely busy for me.
I work in a store in Belgium were we have a lot of work during this time of year. (Today is Christmas and me first day off in over 14 days). So every evening over the past few weeks I came home feeling very tired, but never too tired to watch Vlogadays! (or another video you just uploaded) Every time it’s something I look forward to.
So thanks for sharing all your ideas, stories, hauls,…big parts of your life with us. I think it’s a brave thing to do and you do it so well! You’re an honest and genuine person, that’s why I guess so many people like you.

I googled Positively Polished to see if you maybe you had it secretly up, just not officially announced, but it already exists by another person. Hope you are enjoying Utah! I have a few questions. 1. What label maker do you use to label your nail polish on Vlogidays December 29? I tried to label my Cinderella one from Sephora, but it kind of twirled going up the bottle. If that makes sense. 2. Is Deer Valley a resort? It would be a very nice vacation, and have you ever stayed their? Thanks a lot!

I use a P-Touch labeler by Brother with a 1/4″ label for those tin nail polish bottles. Deer Valley is a ski resort. There are several hotels on the premises as well as houses & condos for sale or for rent. We’ve never stayed there, since we’re not too far of a drive from the family vacation home out here. It is a beautiful place to come visit year round!

Would you ever consider doing a reality TV show (of your day to day life – travel – and organizing tips)?
Would you consider sharing some of your art history notes? I think it would be fun to learn a bit more about art thru someone who studied it. ..and would put your hard work (back) to good use!! (please consider, maybe it could be a reoccurring feature : )

- Not remotely! I do love the language & studied it in high school & college, but unfortunately have lost most of it due to lack of use over the years. Language requires practice!

- I never considered it before. Maybe??
How did you learn to train Winnie so perfectly?
- She is not absolutely perfect, but luckily she looks up to me & listens to me most of the time. Plus, I did a lot of research before she came home & learned a lot from The Dog Whisperer as well.

- I like to joke that I live under a rock, because…it’s basically true. I don’t know a lot about celebrities & don’t follow them very closely. I do like Taylor Swift, but I’m not sure if I adhere to her sense of style perse.

- We do, but I keep them mostly on bookshelves. I have a few Martha Stewart entertaining ones & some art hostory books from college that qualify as coffee table books, as well. I like a clear coffee table (with the exception of candles & coasters, of course).

Probably about an hour to write it, edit/design photos & make edits.
